Our exclusive
warmis (ready-to-wear jackets) are crafted matching
picote, aguayo or barracán with hand spun sheep wool or
llama hair, manually knitted to two needles and crochet.
Picote, barracán
and aguayo are thick and rustic cloths, hand
loomed according to old techniques.
The picote and the barracán are made in northern Argentina
of sheep wool of one natural or two colors. The aguayo - original
of Bolivia and Peru -, is a multicolored textile of llama, alpaca
or sheep wool dyed with natural pigments and woven keeping patterns
of old american cultures.
The jackets are available in one size fitting most
and can also be custom manufactured to your own specifications,
such as with only one color or two, with hand painted ribbons
or with only picote and/or aguayo.
All our designs are one-of-a-kind. To order please
send us the COMBI number matching your favorite combination of
cloths and colors. |
