Originally from South America, the poncho is a single large piece of fabric with a slit in the center to allow the head to pass through. Ruanas are open in both the middle and sides.

Ponchos and ruanas are extremely elegant, as they "stay with you" as you move and can be folded over your shoulders. They also are very practical, as they provide you with the utmost freedom of movement, and can easily be whipped on and off according to temperature.

Llama fiber is about seven times warmer than sheep wool, thus its garments are lightweight yet warm. You will also be wrapped in softness, wherever you decide to wear them.

Our ponchos and ruanas are woven from 100% pure llama hair (sheep wool also available), finished with a fringe and most often with a touch of pattern.
